Restaurant Gaj lies at a beautiful location by the river Savinja, whose purity and abundance of fish attract fishermen and other guests from Slovenia and Europe.
The restaurant is next to the ecological horticultural pearl Mozirski Gaj and is surrounded by the facilities of the Mozirje Sports Park. The restaurant was originally built to provide necessary facilities for the Football Club Elkroj Mozirje. There was also a bar and a bowling alley in the building.
